In 1990, village chronicles across East Germany came to an abrupt halt—
and with them, the memory of a region.
AS IF TIME HAD A FRAME continues the narrative 
of everydaylife in the village of Cobbel —home to just 200 souls—
in search of what defines the East German mentality today.
